Dethalbum III Probably Coming This Year

Brendon Small totally reads this blog! OK, probably not.

You may have noticed how I've mentioned several times that I am eagerly anticipating the third Dethalbum. Apparently, I'm not alone since someone else (Technorati) decided to ask Brendon Small in an interview about the long awaited album from "the world's 7th largest economy". Here's what the Metalocalypse/Home Movies creator had to say:

"There’s a lot of stuff coming this year–I think we’re getting close to Dethalbum III, and I think there’s going to be some cool stuff following that, so I think this is going to be a bigger Dethklok year."

Technorati – TW: You’re planning on doing Dethalbum III?

"That’s what the hope is. Again, it takes a long time to organize this stuff, but we’ve got a lot of songs from Season 3 and from all the music I’m writing for Season 4, there’s a lot of new stuff out there and some of it’s really pretty cool."

It looks like my demands prayers will finally be answered soon! I like to think that my constant nagging has triggered Mr. Small into beginning work on Dethalbum III, which I know is probably not true. Also, this most likely means that the album is a bit of a ways off, but as long as it comes out this year, the wait will most likely be justified. In the meantime, fellow Dethfans will have to make due with a new season of Metalocalypse starting this Sunday, along with the debut of Galaktikon.
